Just a little Bit about us...

Father and son, Stephen and Henry Sheets had what some might call an unusually passionate interest in maintaining sharp tools and knives around the house. Being a carpenter and contractor by trade, Stephen had always been passionate about sharpening as an essential part of his craft, his son Henry enjoyed using sharp tools as well and would insist on maintaining a sharp edge on the family's kitchen knives.

Because sharpening knives properly has a steep learning curve, Stephen and Henry had the idea to offer their skills to friends and family. Soon neighbors were asking and the referrals continued. Putting their heads together, they decided that the main reason people don't have their knives sharpened professionally is the inconvenience. While there are several reputable and skilled sharpening services around, their big idea was to offer pick-up and drop-off, and to get the knives back to their customers in 1-3 days.

Sure Sharp wants to offer a traditional, old-fashioned service to our community in a way that is simple and affordable.
